Walkbooks
Ready to connect with voters?
- Select Start to view available walkbooks on the map. Each walkbook contains target households within a geographic area.
- Walkbooks will appear in two colors: gray (not started) or blue (in progress).
- Completed walkbooks will disappear from the map. (Campaign coordinators can view them in the i360 Portal under Canvassing Report.)
- Note for Android users: After selecting a walkbook, you’ll see options to either Get Started or Get Directions. Choose one to navigate to the targeted households.

Households and smart routes
- Households are numbered to show you the most efficient walking route, but you can start wherever you wish.
- See an apartment icon? Tap to view the number of households inside that building.
Survey guide
How to identify target voters:
- Select a household to see target voters and the survey script. Target voters will have a star next to their names. Depending on the survey settings, additional household members may appear.
How to start the conversation:
- Select a name (preferably the target voter).
- Confirm that they wish to take the survey.
- Follow the script and record their answers. Some questions allow for multiple answers.
- Use Next to continue or Previous to go back.
- When finished, select Finish Survey to return to the walkbook map.
Can’t connect with a target voter?
- Mark Unable to Complete, then select Not Home, Refused, Wrong Address, or Restricted Access. These tags will appear in their profile in the i360 Portal.
Icons and their meanings
The status legend defines the icons on your walkbook and household maps.
- Tap the information icon in the upper-right corner of the app.
- View a list of icon definitions, depending on which map you’re viewing.
AB/EV icons
Two icons may appear during absentee and early voting.
- The check mark icon denotes someone who has already returned their absentee ballot or voted early.
- The ballot box icon denotes someone who requested an absentee ballot but has not yet returned it.
If a voter has both icons, that means they requested and returned their absentee ballot.
